About Me

Who am I? I’m a pirate nut living in the Hudson Valley. But for the most part, I am a professional writer.

I hold a BFA in Dramatic Writing from Purchase College, and am working towards a Masters in Professional Writing at NYU. This program has not only helped me hone my point of view as a writer, it has also taught me how to tune in with other voices. Be it researching science-driven articles or crafting brand-focused social media copy, my time in this Masters program has sharpened my ability to create compelling narratives in a variety of voices that pack an emotional punch.

Currently, I create editorial training content for Coach designed to teach, engage, and empower our store associates. Prior to Coach, I was a Content Writer for MicroFame Media where I wrote and edited podcast show notes and other materials for an array of clients in fields including entertainment, new media, finance, real estate, sports, entrepreneurship, and business. I also managed all aspects of social media at QUINN, a personal styling service startup based in New York. There I created all visual and editorial content of the company’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest profiles, from fashion styling and photography to crafting copy. I also created and edited company videos, emails, copy for the startup’s website, corporate decks, and other communications.

I also have extensive visual merchandising and fashion styling experience in the retail industry and digital space, and studied everything from editorial styling to menswear under celebrity stylists Samantha Brown and Karin Elgai. Did I mention I’m a clotheshorse? (I’m a clotheshorse.)

In summary, I live for projects that let me fuse my branding savvy with my talent for the written word. Also, I love to laugh. But more importantly, I love to make you laugh. Uncontrollably.
